Pavel Izmaylov
Director, Capital Markets and Digital Asset Solutions, APEX
Pavel Izmaylov, Director, Capital Markets & Digital Asset Solutions, is part of the digital assets working group at Apex and has responsibility for the strategic development of Apex capability in the digital assets sector.
In his role at Apex, Zurich office, Pavel specializes in tokenization, structured products backed by digital assets and tokenized securities, contributing to position Apex as the cornerstone that bridges the gap between institutional capital and digital asset.
Prior to joining Apex early last year, Pavel was head of capital markets practice at TMF group, during 8 years, closely involved in the first wave of client issuers of digital asset backed ETP products, DAOs and DeFi projects.
Before taking his role at TMF in 2014, Pavel was part of the senior management team at a Liechtenstein based trust and banking group with over USD 23 billion assets under trust, where he structured and advised on corporate restructurings, asset acquisitions and divestitures, capital raising transactions and project and asset financings.
Pavel started his career at tax attorney in private law practice at international law firms and at big four, Financial Services tax practice, in Geneva and Zurich. Pavel has a B.A. in Law from Geneva University, an LL.M in international tax law from Geneva University School of Law and passed the CFA® examination (level I). He is a member of the bar of Switzerland. His working languages are French, English, German and Russian.
