Manila Di Giovanni is the 22-year-old founder & CEO of DWorld, a tech startup creating the world’s first ever virtual economy for a country, the Principality of Monaco. After winning several awards including the Prix Monte Carlo Femme de l’Année in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II and HSH Princess Charlene for the work contributing to the development of the Principality, she is currently the youngest female technopreneur and tech visionary based in Monaco.
Manila’s long-term mission is to build smarter, greener, and futuristic cities in the metaverse where all the local and international stakeholders can place themselves in the virtual twin of each city DWorld recreates. These involve all the enterprises in each key economic sector characterizing each city, but also governmental entities wanting to integrate the public services. Her goal is to use the latest technologies enabling the Metaverse, and assist both cities and countries alike to create a more inclusive future through the development of a real world based V-Economy era.
