Dr. Johnatan Pecero Sanchez
Partnership Development Officer – HPC at the Computer Science Department, FSTM, University of Luxembourg
Johnatan Pecero Sanchez is Partnership Development Officer at the University of Luxembourg. He is coordinating, in partnership with LuxInnovation and LuxProvide, the Luxembourg National Competence Centre (NCC) in High-Performance Computing (HPC) as part of the EuroCC project to develop the national HPC culture. He is working on the definition and establishment of partnerships in HPC and experimental-research platforms with academia, research centres, industry and SMEs, and public administration for the University of Luxembourg. He is contributing to the development of education about HPC, in that context to the first pan-European EUMaster4HPC project (in partnership with 21 countries). He is acting as Luxembourg’s Advisor on the Council of PRACE – Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe. He is representing the University of Luxembourg (advisor) on the ETP4HPC – the European Technology Platform for High Performance Computing. Johnatan is member of the European SLICES consortium (15 countries as partners), developing and offering a flexible platform for large-scale and experimental research. He is member of the Association of European Science and Technology Transfer Professional – ASTP.
Johnatan Pecero Sanchez holds a master’s degree in Computational Intelligence from the Tecnologico Nacional de Mexico, TecNM-ITCM, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Grenoble (INPG), France.
