Murielle Lafaye

Head of the Economic Intelligence Pole and Project Manager of the Observatory of Space Economy, CNES

Currently, Mrs Lafaye is the founder and programme manager of the Space Economy Observatory at CNES in the Directorate for Applications, Innovation and Science at CNES, the French space agency. She also is CNES representative at the OECD Space Forum and in COSPACE, CNES-Government-Industry concertation committee.

Mrs Murielle Lafaye started her career at CNES as a satellite antenna expert and RF space system architect. Then, she had different positions, contributing to the development of downstream-based services as a point of contact with ministries of environment, agriculture, health and digital economy. As responsible for foresight studies at CNES, she founded Space’ibles - the space foresight observatory.
