Before joining Kaspersky Lab in 2014, Jornt worked as a researcher/developer for Security Matters. There he implemented and designed detection modules for Intrusion Detection Systems that operate in an Industrial Control System (ICS) environment. Furthermore he worked as a security consultant for Digidentity where he improved existing products by creating new software and creating new cryptographic algorithms. After this he worked as a consultant at the Security Operations Center of Rijkswaterstaat (governmental institution responsible for roads and water management) where he was actively involved in securing ICS environments.

At Kaspersky lab Jornt works as a local security expert for the BeNeLux region and is a member of Kaspersky Labs Global Research and Analysis Team (GReAT). Next to his job at Kaspersky Lab,  he  is also a member of the working group for the new Dutch e-id system. Jornt specializes in:
