Dr. Greg Dzsinich, LLM, CIPP/E: ICT attorney and executive strategist (Budapest), board member of CyAN (Paris) and in this capacity the associated partner representative to EUROPOL (The Hague) furthermore a regular speaker with above 10 years of university lecturing.
Greg's advisory and lecturing focus areas are cyber security, data privacy and IPR anti-piracy.
In his capacity of being a board member of the Cyber Security Advisors (CyAN) he was selected to be an advisory board member of the EUROPOL CyberCrime Center (EC3) for 2 years. CyAN as an organization is based in Paris, and today, after 5 years after its foundation, has over 120 senior multi-disciplinary professionals, covering 20 countries in the world.
Greg was the expert industry key discussant at the latest Fundamental Rights Colloquium at the European Commission regarding data privacy and secure electoral processes at the end of last year. In 2018 he was also invited to be a high-level expert group member of the European Commission.
In the multinational world, he served as the Intellectual Property Rights Lead at Microsoft and after that as the Chief Legal Counsel at T-Systems based in Budapest. His public sector practice also includes working with the European Patent Office and the Council of Europe, for which he was leading the advisory of 5 countries regarding cyber-criminal law development. His industry representation experience includes the local chairmanship of the Business Software Alliance (BSA).
Greg's education includes the Pazmany University, the University of Salzburg, the Pécs University and Cambridge University. He received his LLM in info-communication and he is certified by IAPP (Portsmouth, USA) as an information privacy professional for Europe.
