Luxembourg: The epicenter of the Tokenization Area (powered by LHoFT)
During the next ICT Spring edition, the LHoFT will launch their insightful report on DLT-based securities registers. It offers a deep dive into how this revolutionary technology addresses the challenges of traditional systems while elevating transparency, efficiency, and security.
The aim of the report is to guide individuals through a world of transformative solutions, providing a comprehensive understanding of the legal adoption intricacies and promoting user education. As part of ICT Spring, on June 29, the LHoFT will organize a side-event to present the report and engage in discussions about the vast opportunities that lie ahead.
This is an invitation to delve into the heart of the tokenization era and witness how Luxembourg shapes itself into a thriving hub of this digital revolution.
How can blockchain technology reshape securities?
In collaboration with Tokeny and Luxembourg Blockchain Lab, the LHoFT will gather Oriane Kaesmann (Research Associate at the LHoFT), Alvaro Garrido Mesa (Head of Legal at Tokeny), and Emilie Allaert (Head of the Luxembourg Blockchain Lab), to state the main findings and addresses the current status of Luxembourg.
Their presentation will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Gildas Blanchard, ALFI Senior Industry Affairs Adviser - Risk Management & Digitalisation. Around the table, Patrick Hennes (Head of Transfer Agency Development & DLT at DZ Privatbank S.A.), Romain Gonthier (Senior Legal Counsel at Blocktrade), Pavel Izmaylov (APEX Group), and Martijn Siebrand (Innovation Manager Digital Assets at ABN Amro), will discuss with him the impact on the business model of the asset management industry. They will present the latest developments of the industry and technology, and also provide their insights on what is required to favor mass adoption.
