
The Italian Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg was founded in 1990 and formally recognized by the Italian Government on 5th October 1992. The Italian Chamber of Commerce is also accredited by “Chambre de Commerce du Grand Duché de Luxembourg”
As a bilateral Chamber it works both with the Italian Embassy, Italian Institutions and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Embassy in Italy and Luxembourgish Institutions.
The Chamber counts on more than 250 members. Most of them are prestigious banks, law firms, financial companies and commercial companies having their headquartered in Luxembourg.
It is part of « Assocamerestero », an association of the 84 Italian Chambers of Commerce in the World. This network offers the primary benefit of contacts and collaboration with the bilateral business community of the countries where the Italian Chambers have their offices.
The CCIL performs a variety of services for its members, aimed at guiding their penetration in the Luxembourgish market, as well as that of Luxembourgish companies in the Italian market. The main services provided are: business and start-ups support, provision of juridical information, organisation of conferences and meetings with trade partners, organisation of trade fairs, b2b meetings between Italian companies and Luxembourgish companies
The CCIL also hosts and participates in a series of promotional events as well as networking events.
It is active in educational projects and European Projects financed by EU.
