In 2017, Grant Thornton Luxembourg have created the Grant Technology HUB services , a new portfolio of consultancy offerings covering Blockchain Technologies, Cybersecurity and Innovation dedicated to financial services clients.

With regards to Blockchain, the Grant Thornton Technology HUB services include customised awareness trainings, assistance and guidance on Blockchain feasibility and strategy developments, as well as Blockchain roadmap co-elaboration and implementation services.

Cybersecurity services include: design of IT Governance Solutions, Data Privacy Assessments, Risk Management and /or CISO as a service, in addition to preventive services such as Penetration Tests, IT forensic, Incident Response Management and advice on Cybersecurity software solutions.

Innovation services comprise an incubator for Fintech companies, providing access to a full array of services: from funding support to office space and connectivity, from definition of business models to networking meetings with potential clients / partners , from CSSF application file support to post licensing services to regulated entities (e.g. accounting, regulatory reporting, payroll, tax advisory, internal audit / external audit).

The Technology HUB services offering is supplemented by the core advisory services of Grant Thornton Luxembourg whose focus in 2018 lie on supporting our clients in GDPR compliance, PSD 2 implementations, and other regulatory topics such IFRS 9 support, risk and regulatory reporting and a range of other regulatory topics besides our business risk services.

Our clients are largely but not exclusively financial institutions (Banks, Professionals of the Financial Sector, Management Companies as well as Payment and Electronic Money Institutions) and range from small companies to large national and multinational financial institutions.
